How to Order


You can send us an email using the contact form on our website indicating your desired rug and we will reach out to you in a timely manner.

Maintenance and cleaning methods


Proper cleaning methods are essential to ensure the durability of your rug. Below you will find some of the tips for better rug care and maintenance. When it comes to cleaning your rugs you have 2 options: you either do it by yourself or you rely on a professional.

  • If you decide to clean the rug yourself you have to wash with cold water and soap made specifically for rugs. The rug then needs to be kept in the sun until it is dry.
  • Alternatively, you can rely on the experience of professional carpet cleaners.

Return policy


In the case that the item you received is damaged, you could return the item in the same condition as you received it with the original box and/or packaging. Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it and if the item is found to be damaged, we will replace it without any charging any shipping fees.

If you change your mind before receiving your item, just send us an email at contact@nilecarpets.com to cancel your order and we will process the refund along with any shipping fees applied.

If you wish to return the item after receiving it, you have up to 15 days to return them, keeping in mind that custom products are final and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, changes or alterations.

Payment & Shipping


Since customer satisfaction is what we aim for, Nile carpets offers 2 types of shipping methods:

  • Deliveries to international destinations will be made through air shipping from Egyptian ports to the customers’ ports. Nile carpets shops for the best possible shipping rates and methods of shipping to ensure the lowest possible freight rate
  • For national deliveries, rugs will be delivered to the customers’ doorstep.

For all destinations nationally and internationally, we try to send the orders using the quickest routes possible and lowest shipping rates.

Deliveries to national destinations usually take 2 business days using our shipping partner, Tiffany cargo systems.

Deliveries to international destinations can take a longer time depending on the shipping methods. Air freight can take from 2 to 4 business days whereas sea freight can take up to 21 business days.
